In this series of individual gardens, there is always plenty to enjoy. Colourful island beds flank the paths down to the woodland garden, beyond which rise the peat walls, resplendent with rhododendrons and blue Himalayan poppies. Over the oriental bridge is the rock garden and formal garden. Also take in the views of the Galloway Hills, and watch for red squirrels, soaring ospreys and peregrine falcons.
