Find out how to recreate the look, below.
You Will Need
- Begonia 'Inferno' plants (6)
- Campanula poscharskyana (3)
- Slow-release fertiliser
- Water-retaining granules
- Hanging basket and liner
- Multi-purpose, peat-free compost
Step 1

Cutting planting holes into the hanging basket
First cut planting holes in your coir liner, then place a couple of layers of plastic, from an old compost bag, in the base of the hanging basket. Add compost, slow-release fertiliser and water-retaining gell and mix in with your hands.
Step 2

Planting the begonia

Feed the campanula plants through the planting holes you've made in the coir, and add a layer of compost. Then plant the begonias in the top of the basket, filling around them with compost and firming well.
Kevin Smith says...
Water this hanging basket every day – twice in very hot weather. Baskets need a lot of water to really thrive and the compost should never be allowed to dry out. Water gently so the liquid doesn’t run off the surface of the compost.
