Rhododendron 'Queen Elizabeth II' is a compact, bright rhododendron, bearing masses of primrose yellow-white flowers from late spring to early summer, in contrast with dark green leaves. It’s perfect for a sheltered border or growing in a pot, which can be taken indoors in autumn.

Grow Rhododendron 'Queen Elizabeth II' in a sheltered spot where it’s protected from harsh winds, in partial shade. Plant in humus-rich, moist but well-drained neutral to acidic soil (or peat-free ericaceous compost). Rhododendrons are shallow-rooted so take care not to plant too deeply. Mulch annually with a generous layer of leaf mould. There should be little or no need to prune.
