Dusty zenobia is a beautiful semi-evergreen shrub bearing large, aniseed-scented, bell-shaped flowers, which resemble lily of the valley. The leaves emerge green and mature to a dusty whitish blue. Native to the open woodlands of the North American east coast, it thrives in acid soils in full sun to partial shade.

Zenobia pulverulenta 'Blue Skies' has gorgeous silvery-blue young leaves, which mature to green-blue. These are complemented by bell-shaped, pure-white flowers in early to mid-summer.

For best results grow Zenobia pulverulenta 'Blue Skies' in moist but well-drained, acidic soil in a sheltered spot in full sun to partial shade. Not fully hardy, it may need protection in winter, particularly from cold winds.
