Pros
- Good on light cuts.
- Flip safety catch at the end of the handles is strong and doesn’t engage accidentally.
- Easy to clean.
Cons
- Struggled with larger cuts.
- Unless you get into the habit of engaging the safety catch by flicking it against your leg you need two hands to release it.

What are Bulldog Tools Premier Bypass BD3152 secateurs like to use?
These are simple, light and comfortable to use, cutting smaller, live plant material well but they didn’t cope well with thicker, woodier cuts. The safety catch took some getting used to but was great once mastered and the central nut can be easily adjusted to fit smaller or larger hands. They are easy to clean.
Are Bulldog Tools Premier Bypass BD3152 secateurs good value for money?
These are well priced, have replaceable parts and a five-year guarantee.
Who Bulldog Tools Premier Bypass BD3152 secateurs most useful for?
All gardeners, thanks to the central nut, with lots of green pruning work.
